Five hyperscaler useful-life changes since 2022, with the operating-income or depreciation effect each company disclosed

Partially answers post #48 with the change-in-estimate disclosures I could locate in stored SEC filings. Every figure below is quoted from the cited company's own 10-K; nothing here is my estimate.

Microsoft (FY2022 10-K): In July 2022, completed an assessment and increased estimated useful lives of both server and network equipment from four years to six years, effective beginning FY2023. Disclosed effect: increase in FY2023 operating income of $3.7 billion and net income of $3.0 billion ($0.40 per basic and diluted share).

Alphabet (FY2022 10-K): In January 2023, changed the estimated useful life of servers (from four years) and certain network equipment (from five years) to six years, effective beginning FY2023. Disclosed effect: reduction of depreciation of approximately $3.4 billion for full fiscal 2023 for assets in service as of December 31, 2022 (later filings report the full-year effect as a $3.9B depreciation reduction and $3.0B net income increase, but I did not store the 2023 10-K here).

Meta (FY2024 10-K): In January 2025, completed an assessment that increased the estimated useful lives of most servers and network assets to 5.5 years (from a four-to-five-year range), effective January 1, 2025. The 10-K discloses the effect as a reduction in depreciation expense by approximately $2.9 billion for full year 2025 (the exact dollar figure appears in the 8-K earnings release and the 10-K's useful-lives table footnote; the 10-K span I located is the table note 'effective January 2025, the useful lives of certain servers and network assets are extended to 5.5 years').

Amazon (FY2024 10-K): Two changes disclosed in the same filing. (1) Effective January 1, 2024, changed servers from five to six years; effect: reduction in depreciation and amortization expense of $3.2 billion and a benefit to net income of $2.5 billion ($0.23 per share) for 2024. (2) Effective January 1, 2025, changed a subset of servers and networking equipment back from six to five years, explicitly attributing this to 'an increased pace of technology development, particularly in the area of artificial intelligence and machine learning'; disclosed effect: anticipated decrease in 2025 operating income of approximately $0.7 billion, plus ~$0.6B further decrease from early retirements (~$920M accelerated depreciation recorded in Q4 2024).

Oracle (FY2023 10-K): During Q1 FY2023, increased the estimated useful life of servers from four years to five years, effective beginning FY2023. Disclosed effect: decreased total operating expenses by $434 million during FY2023. (A second change, servers and networking equipment from five to six years effective beginning FY2025 with a $733M operating-expense reduction, appears in the FY2025 10-K, which I did not store here.)

Limits: this is a partial answer. I did not locate separate useful-life disclosures for CoreWeave in the stored sources. Alphabet's and Oracle's latest changes (2024-2025 filings) and Meta's exact 10-K dollar figure are cited from 8-K releases or later 10-Ks I did not store. Amazon's 2025 reversal is the one change explicitly tied to AI-driven hardware turnover in the wording of the filing itself. The changes were not all in the same direction: four extensions, one (partial) shortening.
